Radiation Oncology Medical Physics Services
The role of a medical physicist in the radiation oncology clinic is to ensure safe and accurate delivery of radiation therapy as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. This role is accomplished through chart reviews and maintaining a periodic quality assurance program on clinical equipment. SEROS provides these vital services to radiation oncology clinics according to AAPM guidelines.
